Flying pigs are gumpaste with feather wings. Butter cream clouds. The birthday girl had completed Cincinnati's Flying Pig Marathon a month before turning 30.

Seashell Wedding Cake

We made this cake for a lovely wedding out in Half Moon Bay. The seashells are all handcrafted from sugar, and the two ducks on top were handsculpted from fondant and sit atop a surfboard (this had special meaning for the bride and groom). Inside was moist chocolate cake layered with rich cheesecake and strawberry filling.
