New Website!

My new website is up and running! It is fine in Firefox, but some tweaking is still required in Windows (am I surprised?). The new swanky online class booking system is also running smoothly, check it out! But mostly, I am really proud of the new photogallery, which is also acting as a catalogue. Now people can point to the number under each picture and I will know exactly which cupcake tickles their fancy. Enjoy :)

Fair Cake won the Londonist Cupcake Throwdown!

.... in every single category, might I add :)

See all the details here!
In order to celebrate this fantastic victory, I thought I might boast about it a wee bit. Wait for the new website, and you shall see what I mean. Hopefully, and I have been hoping for a week now, the new website should be up today. I have made a lot of changes - there is now a photogallery, a better online booking system for classes and a new, I reckon eagerly anticipated, addition to the recipes page. Just need to tweak that last little bit of html before I unleash it on the internet.

Twitter and High Heel Shoes!

There is far too much to do, too little time! Updating Facebook, Flickr, Website - gosh! Anyway, between all of that, here are a couple of pictures from a very stylish wedding - the cupcake tower had to incorporate high heeled shoes and dark plum roses (the bride's shoes looked very similar).

Vanilla Vanilla

Vanilla has proven to be the the most demanded flavour - I would have thought it would be chocolate, but no, vanilla has topped the list! In the last six months, more than half of all cupcake demands were for the humble vanilla cupcake. Now, there is nothing humble about these cupcakes - these are made using Neilson Massey Madagascan vanilla - and now you know why they are so popular! Here are some pictures of a recent Vanilla cupcake batch. Enjoy!

New Year, New Website

A new year brings a new design to Fair Cake's website. We are uploading our Valentine's Day collection this evening. There was a huge demand for small boxes of cupcakes that could be sent as presents. Now you can! Have a look on our website for examples of the types of cupcakes that can be shipped overnight to practically any destination in the UK. Note that buttercream and swirly icing cannot be shipped (too delicate!), however, there are plenty of designs that can be shipped. Here are some examples -

Happy sending!
